Located on the banks of Saigon River, surrounded by vibrant culture and historical landmarks, the Hilton Saigon @hiltonsaigon @hilton beckons as the latest modern and elite hotel in Ho Chi Minh, exuding class and finesse and bringing the finest in hospitality standard to this vibrant city.

Offering luxury and impeccable service, the hotel boasts of five restaurants and bars, a rooftop bar with views of the city, and a spa. We had a wonderful time exploring the gastronomic delights at the Strand for breakfast and checked out the executive lounge for our cocktail hour, chill out at the #melinhlounge or visit the @songbarsgn where you can have tea set or champagne against the awesome Saigon Streetscape, dim sum extravaganza at the @residenceelevensgn or indudge in a wellness treatment at the lovely @eforeaspa.hilton

This is THE BEST breakfast I have ever had in Saigon Hotels, and the dimsum experience on the 39th floor together with the view was simply gorgeous.. Hi Tea set experience on the 40th floor was just glorious and tasty, again with a fascinating view to conclude a beautiful day.

The design of the entire hotel and rooms is eclectic and purposeful, functional yet demure, classy yet practical, from the showers (2 buttons to activate either the showerhead or the rain shower) to the curtains, the mellow room lighting (easy to operate) and the superb wifi connection with a diversity of local and international channels.

The most awesome attribute is the view, the view and the view; the fact that it is located at the Me Linh roundabout where the Tran Hung dao statue resides, and overlooks the Bach Dang Port wharf area and Saigon River, with the Cau Ba Son further afield that takes motorists to the prestigious Thu Thiem area is just astonishing and delightful!

The Affordable Art Fair is the longest running international art fair in Singapore, and this year’s edition featured 83 local and international galleries, showcasing over 750 artists, of which 97 are Singapore-based artists.

The next edition will be back again next year.

Truly satisfying with an extremely powerful porky prawn broth; with fresh prawns, prawn paste pieces, pork ribs, meat, skin, liver, intestines, kidney.. u can see their assistant carting the fresh broth over every 20 mins… a testament to their standard, finesse and freshness.. and a long endearing queue who is patient enough to await their prawn-pork bowl of goodness..

We had the soup version for Menu No. 5 (solo porky prawn noodle) with Bee Hoon, the dry version with generous toppings of chilli and garlic for Menu No. 5 (solo porky prawn noodle) with Kway Teow, and the dry version for the Signature Prawn Noodle - Menu No.1 with Kway Teow.. all laden with extra liver portions. Along at our table was also 2 portions of Soup Series : the Mixed Porky Soup (so good) and the Prawn Paste Soup (Excellent 9.2/10)

The owner chef and his assistants are super friendly, and we had this charming and excellent dishes at their flagship stall at 15 Anamalai Avenue right at the heart of the Sixth Avenue precinct..

We went to this venue which is tucked in a cosy corner at CT Hub 2 at Kallang and was amazed to find a cuisine beauty in 3 stalls, mainly the 小麻子麻辣烫Mala Tang, a place serving a super yummy fried beef kway teow (rating 9/10) and a delightful stewed chicken drumstick. A great spot for dinner on weekdays and weekends, aside from lunch which is already super packed..
