Bhoomi - By Milind Sovani

Bhoomi is a fine dining culinary sanctuary where legendary renowned Chef Milind Sovani invites you to rediscover India's rich tapestry of flavours. If this name sounds familiar, you may remember the renowned Song of India, which was set up by Chef Milind in 2006. At that time, it was considered a pioneer of modern Indian cuisine in Singapore together with the likes of Rang Mahal. Bhoomi marks Chef Milind's comeback to the dining scene and a tribute to his roots, celebrating India's rich culinary heritage with authenticity and respect.

Specialised ingredients are sourced from across India, ensuring that each dish is crafted using the finest and most authentic components.

Bhoomi, which opened in July 2024, is dedicated to sustainability and promoting healthy food choices, striving to create dishes that not only delight the palate but also nourish the body and respect the planet.

We decided to drop by one evening to check out this new place to satisfy our curiousity taste buds.

We started with a house special cocktail to get the groove going while we looked through the menu

We ordered some starters - a soup, some kebabs and papadam. They were spot on and absolutely amazing.

Next up were the mains. We had a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and curries, paired with a platter of plain, butter and garlic Naans.

Finally, something sweet to end off the evening.

Bhoomi ambience and interior. Modern and contemporary style.

Bhoomi menu.

Overall Verdict: Elevated fine dining cuisine with wallet friendly prices. The decent and lean portions allow diners to order a greater variety of dishes to sample. Rosette Media gives this a rating of 7.8/10. Highly recommended!
