USHER IN THE AUSPICIOUS YEAR OF THE EARTH PIG AT CHERRY GARDEN
Singapore, 21 December 2018 – Ring in the prosperous Lunar New Year with a tantalising array of epicurean delights at Cherry Garden and a creative cocktail inspired by the Year of the Earth Pig at MO BAR from 18 January to 19 February 2019.
Toss to endless wealth and prosperity with one of the five Yu Shengs available. Whether it is Bountiful Yu Sheng with Alaskan crab meat and black caviar or a vegetarian option with fresh fruits and vegetables, this tradition is served with julienned Rosella fruit and velvety spring onion sauce unique to Cherry Garden.
Another highlight is Singapore’s largest traditional ‘basin dish’, the Luxurious Pen Cai, replete with premium ingredients such as braised four-head abalone, lobsters, scallops, sea cucumbers, prawns, roasted duck, lotus chicken, roasted pork belly and more. Weekend Dim Sum Brunch sees the introduction of Crispy Wasbi-aioli Prawns with fresh mango and tobiko, and the all-time favourite Five Grain Fried Rice with Cantonese pork sausage.
Perfect for takeaway are heritage dishes such as Slow-cooked Beef Brisket Stew with tendon and turnip and Pig Trotter with black moss, made with soybean paste and braised for two hours. Ideal for gifts to relatives or business associates are other delectable goodies such as the Pineapple Sable available in six or nine pieces in teal boxes with the iconic fan emblem or cookies such as Kueh Bangkit, Almond and Peanut.
At newly opened MO BAR, raise a toast to new beginnings with The Golden Fortune. Concocted by Bar Manager Michele Mariotti, it is a delicious tipple comprising gin infused with barbecued pork, dry vermouth, gold leaf and aromatic fat oil.
