A sea of abundance is washing ashore at Dian Xiao Er this Year of the Dragon as it brings prosperous offerings for a delicious Lunar New Year feast. We went for a tasting of their Lunar New Year offerings and were truly amazed with the finesse and quality of their entire menu!
Since its inception, Dian Xiao Er has been regaling gourmands with its Signature Herbal Roast Ducks, which have become a must-eat dish when in Singapore! The restaurant uses only the finest quality Cherry Valley ducks and the freshest ingredients. Prepared daily, the ducks are marinated with a vitalising blend of Chinese herbs and spices for hours, and roasted at a precise temperature so as to ensure retention of their juices. Crisp to the touch, and golden brown in appearance, the herbal roast ducks are complemented with a specially concocted herbal sauce that makes it impossible to resist!

Begin with the Smoked Salmon YuSheng ($39.80 M/$61.80 L) that does not cut any corners with thick generous slices of salmon. Add an additional portion of Smoked Salmon for $13 and top up crunchy crackers for $3. The yusheng is available for both dine-in and takeaway.
New dishes adding to the festivities this year include a 香味葡京旺来骨 Prosperity Pineapple Pork Ribs of tender pork ribs fried to sweet caramelisation with pineapple cubes and complemented by a sweet and tangy special sauce. The result is an irresistible pork dish with taste that lingers on the palate, certain to be embraced by both adults and kids alike.
