5 August 2022, Singapore – Malaysian rock legends Wings are set to boost the high-octane Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2022 this 30th September. The rockers will be the first Southeast Asian act in the power-packed event’s history to perform at the Zone 4 Padang Stage.
Led by singer and actor Awie, the iconic band debuted in 1985 with the record-breaking album ‘Belenggu Irama’. Since then, they continued their streak of hits with Sejati, Misteri Mimpi Syakilla and Taman Rashidah Utama. Wings has published eleven studio albums, in addition to compilation albums and live albums, selling close to two million records.
Awie (Vocalist), Sham (Guitar), Edrie (Guitar), Eddie (Bass) and Black (Drums) will perform on Friday, 30 September between the Formula 1 practice sessions. Tickets to catch the performance and the Formula 1 action start from S$98 for a Friday Zone 4 Walkabout ticket. Refer to Annex A for full list of available tickets.

All tickets to the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2022 will allow fans to enjoy the ontrack action as well as the activities and performances in Zone 4 of the Circuit Park. Valid tickets will be required to access the relevant zone for each day.
