Tandoor's New Hyderabad Menu

Updated: Sep 20

Established in 1985, Tandoor, one of Singapore’s most celebrated Indian restaurants, invites diners to embark on a culinary journey that pays homage to India's rich and diverse culinary heritage. Located on Level B1 of the Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre, Tandoor continues to set the standard for authentic North Indian dining, with a menu that reflects the timeless traditions and flavours of Indian cuisine.

Renowned for its meticulous artistry, each dish at Tandoor is passionately prepared by a team of talented chefs using classic recipes and time-honoured cooking methods. The restaurant’s dedication to authenticity has earned it numerous accolades, including the prestigious Wine & Dine Top Restaurants award and a coveted spot on Singapore Tatler’s Best Restaurant Guide.

At Tandoor, every meal is a testament to India’s culinary legacy. The gourmet menu offers a variety of North Indian dishes, each prepared with a deep respect for tradition while also catering to the modern palate. Health-conscious diners will appreciate the innovative preparation methods that maintain the essence of traditional Indian cuisine while promoting healthier dining options.

Tandoor’s extensive à la carte menu feature nearly 60 items, including Shorba, Tikka, and Kebabs. Among the must-try dishes are the Briyanis, such as the vegetarian-friendly Subz Pudina, flavoured with fresh mint leaves, and the Dum Murgh, a chicken Briyani cooked on 'dum'. The menu also includes a wide array of curry specialties, including the signature Mango Curry, as well as a selection of side dishes and desserts, with the popular Kulfi—a unique blend of handmade Indian ice cream—being a standout choice.

Tandoor’s interior blends contemporary design with traditional Indian elements, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and inviting. The dining room features back-lit wall panels with Jaali motifs – a latticed screen characteristic of Indian architecture – and twin alabaster pillars showcasing the art of inlay mirrors. Full-length windows provide an intimate view of the kitchen, where diners can watch chefs at work, preparing fresh Indian breads, tandoori meats, and kebabs in custom-made copper tandoors.

In addition to its main dining hall, Tandoor offers the exclusive Maharajah Suite, a plush private dining room that can accommodate up to 80 guests. The Maharajah Suite is the ideal setting for corporate functions, business luncheons, and special occasions, offering an intimate atmosphere with added space for larger gatherings.

Tandoor also provides a stunning venue for Indian weddings and pre-wedding ceremonies, including Mehndi, Sagaai, and Sangeet. The restaurant’s elegant setting and authentic cuisine make it the perfect place to celebrate life’s most cherished moments.
