The WONCA APR Conference 2024 was officially opened at the Raffles City Convention Centre. The Conference, themed ‘The Art and Science of Family Medicine,’ aims to focus on the myriad ways of approaching and practisingFamily Medicine, which will enable practitioners to provide the best all-around care for their patients.
The official opening ceremony of the Conference was graced by Guest-of-Honour Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health. The global conference welcomed more than 1,100 delegates from across the region comprising leaders, teachers, practitioners, and researchers from the field of Family Medicine.
The four-day programme which commenced on Wednesday, 21 August, is attended by national delegations and delegates from countries, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand. The WONCA APR Conference 2024 offers exciting educational and engaging networking opportunities among experts, healthcare practitioners, researchers, and peers in Family Medicine. The Conference also brings these delegates together for a deep dive into the evolving landscape of Primary Care.

This year’s WONCA APR Conference 2024 is organised by the College of Family Physicians Singapore (CFPS). Established in 1971, CFPS is committed to nurturing generations of Family Physicians through advocacy, education, and innovation.
